that they may be one
A house church,
starting with a few.
We're gathering a handful of people who want to follow Jesus together — simply, honestly, around a table. If that stirs something in you, we'd love to talk.
our intent
Not a smaller version of a bigger thing.
A house church isn't a church program shrunk down to fit in a living room. It's a different shape entirely — closer to the way the church began.
Small, unhurried, and rooted in the everyday: a shared meal, an open Bible, honest conversation, prayer for one another. Real life, lived as if Jesus is who he said he is.
Simple
No stage, no production. A meal, the Scriptures, prayer, and one another. The pattern is small on purpose.
Shared
Everyone contributes. Leadership is plural, gifts are noticed and named, and life is held in common.
Sent
We exist for our neighbors, not ourselves. The church is the people — gathered on one night, scattered the rest of the week.
a rhythm we're imagining
An ordinary evening, together.
- 1
A meal
We arrive hungry. Someone hosts. Everyone brings something. We eat slowly enough to actually talk.
- 2
Scripture, read aloud
We open the Bible and let it speak. A short passage, read more than once, discussed without rush.
- 3
Prayer for one another
We name what's hard, what's heavy, what we hope for. We pray for our neighbors by name.
- 4
The table
Bread and cup. A simple remembering. A promise that holds the whole evening together.
- 5
Going out
We leave with one small thing to carry into the week — a person to call, a step to take, a prayer to keep praying.
We're looking for partners.
Not members yet — partners. People willing to imagine what this could be, to pray with us, to share a first meal, and to take the first steps together. If that's you, even tentatively, we'd love to hear from you.
